With computers there are two main problem areas, software and hardware.
Software : £50 inc. VAT - Nominal 2-5 days,
This involves removal of trojans, malware, spyware, etc to return the speed and reliability of the unit
Hardware : £99 inc. VAT - 2-5 days (parts may requires longer turnaround)
We charge £20 inc VAT next day return courier delivery or £40 inc VAT collection and return courier service to anywhere mainland UK
Most common faults found on Notebooks:
Charging faults: Battery Charging faults are most common, usually occur through normal abuse Notebooks have to endure Charging connectors detached from the main board are repaired at a fixed rate of £ 99(inclusive of parts)
TFT Screens: TFT screen damage normally results after a drop, we dismantle and obtain replacement parts quote, before starting repair. Total cost is dependant upon age and size of screen, and ranges form £200 to £500. If the cost of repair is higher than replacement PC, we shall help source suitable options. Nominal cost of £99 applies in this case.
Motherboard: Complex due to the Large Scale Integrated layout, there are limited repairs that can be carried out effectively, we will fix only simple, reliable faults, others will require replacement, Again this is discussed after investigation, but before any further cost is incurred.
Liquid Damage: Water/drink damage can be dealt with effectively if simple steps are taken quickly( remove battery, and all doors/flaps underneath, then place in warm dry place , this limits the corrosion from taking hold) once dry, ship to us and normally a keyboard replacement(£30-50) will get you computing again.
